Issue #48: Sunk cost fallacy? 🤔

Pushing or resetting?

Even this week, I’ll be brief as I’m still going through a lot of thoughts in these weeks that I need to elaborate properly.

The main question that I have right now is something I anticipated last week.

“Is HeyEcho something I’d like to sell and stick with in the foreseeable future?”

Maybe it’s just the fear of rejection that always hits me once it’s time to start grinding outreaching and selling, or maybe it’s the runway that is getting to its end, or maybe it’s just genuinely believing that it’s not the right product for me as a founder.

I didn’t figure it out yet.

However, I’m going to start reaching out to SEO agencies and propose HeyEcho and see what happens and how I feel about it.

Why agencies?

  1. writing blog posts should be their bread and butter, so it should easily resonate with them.

  2. they have a higher volume need for blog posts as they deal with multiple clients, so the effort of selling to them could outweigh the effort of selling to multiple companies.

In the meantime, I started applying more actively for different projects as a contractor to bring in some money. This is something that I realized has two purposes:

  1. well, we all need money to live and sustain our families, right? 😅

  2. seeing the runway reaching 0 while running a business doesn’t help make good decisions for the business itself.

Let’s see what will happen next week. 👋
